Annual Registration Fee

All families are charged an annual registration fee. One fee covers the whole family — it includes siblings.

Tuition & Payment

Tuition is due on the first of each month. A $15.00 late fee is applied to any balance not paid by the fifteenth.

We accept cash, checks, or credit cards (credit cards carry a $3.00 service fee). Monthly tuition checks are made payable to the City of Montgomery.

Every student gets one free trial per class, once per lifetime.

There are no refunds.

Delinquent Accounts

If an account isn't paid, a notice of intent to withdraw is sent at the end of the month. If it's still unpaid by the 5th of the following month, a withdrawal notice is issued and the student is removed on the 15th.

Full payment must be received before a student is considered for class placement, which is subject to availability. The Armory reserves the right to refuse service for consistent delinquency.

Missed Classes & Changes

Missed classes do not result in make-up classes, pro-rated tuition, or refunds.

Class changes are free for the first four per family each year. After that, there is a $10 charge for each additional change.

Dropping a Class

Parents must notify the office to drop a student from class. Your account continues to be charged — whether or not your student attends — until you notify the office in writing. A 15-day written notice is required to drop.

Dress Code

Students may wear leotards, fitted t-shirts (not loose), shorts, capris, or leggings with no buttons, snaps, or zippers. Bare feet are required on the gym floor.

  • Hair should be pulled up securely.
  • Stud earrings only, worn during class.
  • Please leave all other jewelry at home.

Behavior & the Floor

Students perform only planned, expected skills, and don't make contact with other students unless a coach directs it.

  • No running, jumping, horseplay, gymnastics, or tumbling in the balcony, steps, or lobby.
  • No flash photography.
  • No gum, phones, or electronics on the floor.

We reserve the right to dismiss a student for disruption — including social-media conduct, behavioral issues, or bad language.

Arrival & Pickup

  • Arrive about 5 minutes before class — and no earlier than 15 minutes.
  • Pick up on time, and no later than 15 minutes after class ends.
  • Parents are responsible for supervising any children who are not enrolled.

Parking

A parking pass (available at the office) must be displayed on the driver's-side windshield. Park only during your scheduled classes or events, and observe handicap parking laws.

  • Park in Lot F and Lot D on the west side.
Do not park on the east side of the building — you will be towed at your own expense.

Staying in Touch

Reach the office by phone at (334) 625-2789 or by email for any class or account questions.

We email receipts, statements, emergency-closing notices, and special-event updates. The Parent Portal lets you view balances (online payment is not accepted).

Competitive Teams

Competitive gymnastics team members are chosen once a year, by invitation only. Learn more on our Competitive Team page.
